Victorian Amateur Football Association
The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) was originally founded in 1892 as the Metropolitan Junior Football Association (MJFA). The name of the competition was changed to Metropolitan Amateur Football Association (1912) before finally settling on the VAFA in 1932.
The VAFA has and continues to be the main bastion of Amateur Football in Australia and within our competition all players play, for the love of the game.
